Job Description


Responsibilities:
The intern is expected to work closely with Wafer Foundry Engineering team to manage a broad range of software related tasks.
Examples include:

  • Data analysis
  • Developing scripts to automate routine tasks
  • Routine maintenance (e.
    g.
    uploading documents to records in our workflow)
  • Maintaining and upgrading team website

Requirements:
Ideally looking for a local student (driving distance to Irvine, CA) pursuing an Electrical/Computer Engineering, Materials Science (or similar) who can work up to 30 hours during summer months with the possibility of extending into a part time internship (15-20 hours) during the semester.

Ability to program in scripting languages is highly desirable.
Some exposure to web page development, semiconductor processing, and device physics is also highly desirable.
The candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and UNIX.
Good communication and problem solving skills are essential.
The individual should be enthusiastic, flexible, self-motivated, and be able to interface with a variety of organizations
