I can succeed as a Global Finance Lead Accountant at Capital Group.
As a Lead Accountant, you are a skilled communicator who ll provide technical direction, leadership, and coaching to associates to ensure our financial reporting is complete, accurate, and in compliance with general accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Every day, you ll be responsible for reviewing work prepared by associates, research complex accounting issues and leverage in-depth business knowledge as well as technology solutions to continue enhancing our business processes.
To thrive in this role, you have had a balanced combination of expertise in accounting and financial statement audits with a proven track record of coaching and guiding others.

- You are comfortable researching and analyzing complex accounting issues to implement and/or improve operating and reporting processes.
- You understand monthly accounting close cycles and are comfortable reviewing the work of others and coaching associates at all levels.
- You exercise good judgement and have a process for managing multiple priorities.
You are totally comfortable when priorities shift, and you manage change with steadfast composure. - You are a strategic partner in cross-department projects through proactively solving problems to reduce potential risks while influencing and collaborating with others towards ultimate success.
- You have a bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
- You have a CPA license or equivalent experience.
