Job Description

Strategic Sourcing Manager will partner with Sourcing, Operations, Finance, and Business Units to develop global projections for foundry wafers to ensure Skyworks is leveraging our global scale. This role will also be responsible for ensuring Sourcing has timely sourcing and capital processes to enable decisions at lead time and maximum value capture. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate with Legal and Contracts to foster innovation in contracting and negotiations that create competitive advantages, improve service quality, support business development, improve cost effectiveness, minimize risks and lead to greater productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a comprehensive Global Sourcing process for capital and key commodities that is tailored to Skyworks businesses.
- Ensure flexibility at low cost in the supply line through innovative negotiations and contracts (VMI/consignment schemes, pre-builds, pass through pricing, etc.).
- Help develop end to end visibility of all costs (Total Cost of Ownership) and capacity pipelines to ensure the teams are executing to viable global sourcing strategies.

Education, Experience, Skills
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing Finance. MBA strongly desired.
- Minimum ten years of experience managing equipment, service or commodity sourcing for a major semiconductor company.
- Demonstrated successful negotiation with major equipment companies, foundries, and OSATs
- Successful experience in cross cultural relationships, particularly with Singapore, Japan, Mexico, and Korea.
- Solid understanding of the equipment fabrication, wafer fabrication and module assembly processes.
- Ability to work with engineering to translate development projects into firm business commitments.
- Proven experience driving advantaged business models with equipment vendors with >$20M/y spend.
- Demonstrated ability to lead/coordinate internal and external global teams to deliver to a common objective. Comfort with facilitating teams/groups and working with all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to hold vendors accountable to performance requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- A leader and team-builder that is results-oriented and passionate to win.
- Proficient in operating Windows and associated Microsoft Office applications.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
