Long Description
Our Financial System Analyst will be an integral member of the Finance organization responsible for analyzing our financial business processes and complex finance business issues identifying automated solutions and automated system development needs.
Working closely with our IT organization, you will be responsible for identifying gaps and providing technical financial expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scaling new and current systems, processes and procedures to achieve automation, efficiency, scalability, and business-wide reporting capabilities.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and customer needs, map them to corresponding financial systems
- Support finance interface with various financial systems, including but not limited to Hyperion, SAP, PPM Pro, etc.
- Create and manage standard reports, user securities, system backup process
- Support ongoing financial processes from a systems-perspective such as annual budgeting, forecasting, closing, analysis, reporting, etc.
- Monitor and report system performance issues; provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with Hyperion.
- Perform troubleshooting for Hyperion end users by evaluating problem situations in depth, arriving at independent conclusions leading to problem resolution and documentation
- Create and maintain user documentation, instructions, and procedures
- Provide user trainings
- Work as liaison between Finance Team, IT Group, and external consultants

Education and
Experience:
- Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor s Degree in Business, Finance or Computer Science; MBA preferred - IT educational background or working experience highly preferred
- Experience with Hyperion and/or SAP is a plus; strong Microsoft Office skills required
- Excellent face-to-face, telephone and e-mail communication
- Minimum Job-Related Experience Required:
5
years related experience - Experience working with personnel in international locations is a plus
- Experience in clearly defining and utilizing processes in daily work
- Proven experience in identifying innovative ways to streamline work processes
