Business Systems Analyst 1
In this position, you will deliver creative and results-driven process and system transformations to the Sales, Demand Management teams at Skyworks leveraging industry expertise and out-of-the-box thinking. You will work with data from various sources to enable Skyworks to better service our customer requirements. You will collaborate directly with business leaders to create systems and process solutions to automate and refine the forecasting and customer service processes. You will work on custom solutions as well as enhance off-the-shelf systems. You will write business requirement documents, functional specifications, and assist in technical architecture and documentation. The ideal candidate is a builder, sharp and multifaceted, has a good grasp of the semiconductor industry and a passion for creating business value.
Responsibilities:
- Business process transformation with various teams within and outside of the Sales, and Demand Management teams
- Requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and functional specification writing
- Create testing plans and coordinate UAT
- Work with in-house IT and 3rd party developers/analysts
- Create reporting and visualizations for existing and new solutions
Basic
Qualifications: - Must be able to clearly communicate, both written and verbal, with technical resources as well as non-technical users and management
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP (SAP preferred)
- Experience with Demand and/or Supply Planning Systems (Blue Yonder and Kinaxis preferred)
- Knowledge of the Semiconductor industry as well as distribution, direct, and other sales channels
- Demonstrated understanding of statistical forecasting and modeling
- Experience working with offshore development
- Familiar with Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies
- Experience creating reports in Business Intelligence Systems (Power BI preferred)
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant field
- 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred
Qualifications: - Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (e.g., Teams, Flow, Power Apps, Power BI, Flow, Azure Logic Apps)
- Adept in Microsoft Excel, with exposure to VBA.
- Demonstrated ability to program in a mainstream language (Python, R, C#, Java, VBA, PHP, HTML, Perl)
- Adept in SQL and able to create multi-table schemas for custom development and reporting solutions

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. May be client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and Outsourcing functions. May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.
