As a Cloud Security Engineer based in Irvine, CA or San Antonio, TX, you will be a key member of the Security Engineering team, who will provide expertise in designing, engineering, and deploying security solutions in support of cloud identity & access management initiatives.
The Cloud Security Engineer requires technical expertise in designing, developing, and deploying automated solutions, strong knowledge of security protocols and APIs, strong relationship and consulting skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple concurrent engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy Identity and Access Management solutions focused that comply with information security policies
- Provide technical support for Data Encryption, Application Security, and Security Monitoring solutions in cloud environments
- Leads and/or drives to the planning, requirements gathering, design, and engineering of Cloud Identity & Access Management across the risk and technology portfolio
- Providing techniques and patterns for securing integration with external vendors or cloud providers
- Providing cloud security technical awareness and education to engineering and development teams
- Responding to complex security incidents and escalations, performing advanced analysis and troubleshooting, and resolving incidents
- Work in a highly collaborative, agile environment
- Support Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Access Management, and Security Intelligence and Response teams in providing stable security platforms for their work
- Understand compliance and regulatory impacts to CG s cloud security posture, partner with risk teams to secure CG with technology solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
- 3-5
years expertise with design, development, and deployment of automated cloud security solutions in AWS - Strong experience with application and infrastructure pipeline development and deployment tool practices
- Security related certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM)
- Public cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with languages such as Python, Go, Java,.
NET, or PowerShell - Experience working with security protocols and standards like SAML, OIDC, TLS, PKI
- Strong OO design methodologies, patterns, best practices
- Experience with Azure and GCP preferred
- Experience with Secrets Management technologies such as CyberArk, KeyVault, and Secrets Manager preferred
- Experience with Agile and product management preferred
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention solutions preferred
- Experience with SIEM/Splunk and Security Orchestration and Automation Platforms preferred
