POSITION SUMMARYNational O&M Services company NOW hiring Power Storage Field Technicians to join our team servicing and repairing HVAC, generators, electrical and performing assigned duties at new state-of-the-art renewable power storage facilities.
The successful candidate will possess proficiency in multiple mechanical and power competencies.

The following training and equipment will be provided:
Paid NFPA 70E Certification Safety trainingAll uniforms, safety suits (Cat 4 PPE), equipment, and tools will be providedCompany vehicle, laptop, and mobile phoneDUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains and services mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
Performs skilled repair services of mechanical, electrical, and building systems and equipment.
Specialized training is provided.
Conducts periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair.
Identifies parts needed for replacement and places orders as necessary.
Conducts all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Maintaining commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling and power storage stack units EUR diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
Performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out of season equipment.
Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC and BatteriesInstalling and uninstalling batteries, battery modules, battery stacksCommissioning and decommissioning batteriesResponding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call-outs while on call.
Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
Overnight travel may be requiredDriving to remote work sites as needed.
Maintain all safety standards.
Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials.
Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.
Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment.
Performs other duties as assignedMaintaining battery storage containersGeneral maintenance for grounds and buildings QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS Experience and skills with HVAC and/or Generator and/or Battery Storage maintenance (preferred)Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems.
DC voltage knowledge (a plus)Batteries installation and service knowledgeCompliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA RegulationsKnowledge and utilization of Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO) proceduresMust be able and available for additional offsite and out of area training (company paid)Must have the ability to be on call and travel for work when needed is highly preferred, especially during busy summer months.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
Must have a valid driverEUR(TM)s license with an acceptable driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Interest in cross-training in other positions such as but not limited to Generator, HVAC, and or electrical.
