FINANCIAL ANALYST - PHARMA AND SAP EXPERIENCE NEEDEDIRVINE, CA Project Description:
The Sr.
Financial Analyst (FP&A) will be responsible for assisting in the financial planning, reporting and analysis for the Eye Care business and partner with Sales & Marketing to achieve short-term and long-term objectives for the business.
Ideal candidate will have EPM/BPC and SAP experience.
Main Areas of
Responsibilities:
Assist forecasting, planning, and reporting for the Eye Care business.
Key point person for financial information related to the Eye Care business spend and DMEProvide Daily Sales updates on Eye Care to leadership teamPartner with Sales and Marketing and other functions to develop expense budgets and track performance vs.
targetsLead initiatives to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes & resource allocation.
Examples include development of automated financial reporting packages, improving forecast accuracy for variable costs and identification/improvement of manual or ineffective processes.
Analyze headcount and related expenses as well as DME by category and S&M spendMonth-end close activities such as expense accruals, reserve analyses and balance sheet reconciliationsHarmonize accounting, systems, and processes as appropriate and develop standard ad hoc queries Preferred Skills/Qualification:
Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, including being a team player while also having the ability to partner with and influence othersAbility to work independently with multiple priorities and tight deadlinesMature business acumen with ability to work with complex business scenariosExcellent planning, organization, and time management/efficiency skillsAttention to detail, sense of urgency/ability to negotiate with and influence collaborative, positive results with external partners / relationshipsStrong executive presence Education:
4-year undergraduate degree, with emphasis in finance or accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred3 years related work experienceExperience applying accounting and financial principles, including cost/benefit and ROI analysesStrong computer skills including spreadsheets, modeling, and financial systems, including SAP, EPM, & BPCProven experience in process improvements and expense leverage This 5
