2 year (Preferred)Full Job DescriptionGrowing full-service tax firm specializing in entertainment and small businesses is looking for a full-time Junior Staff Tax Accountant in our Irvine, CA office.
Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has recently graduate.
We will also consider an individual with basic tax knowledge and experience equivalent to an Associate degree in Accounting.
Responsibilities will include:
Regular bookkeeping for multiple clients across different systems.
Responding to clients in a timely matter and helping out with tax administrative tasks.
Basic individual tax preparation under supervision of manager.
Research tax related questions and issues.
Scan documents, creating and maintaining electronic files.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & QualificationsAbility to multi-task, remain calm, prioritize, and stay organized under deadlines.
Basic understanding of tax law and accounting functions.
Desire to learn how to prepare more advanced individual and business tax returns.
Willingness to work increased hours during peak cycles.
Must have a self-starter attitude and great organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
