Contract Duties:
The Developer is responsible for executing software development work as assigned, ensuring that internal IT software products are delivered in a fashion consistent with industry/company design, architecture, and quality standards as well as best practices.
Key
Responsibilities:
Responsible for design, develop, test and deployment of Microsoft SSAS cube based OLAP solutions.
The developer will be a part of a Enterprise Data Warehouse project which includes delivering OLAP functionality via Microsoft SSAS to Global Finance and Sales Ops business users Skills:
Additional Skills:
Proven hands-on technical experience with Microsoft SQL Server SSAS cubes Strong knowledge of Microsoft SSAS features and toolset, including MDX calculations Understanding of database structures and fluency with SQL Experience delivering Enterprise OLAP solutions in a Data Warehouse/Data Mart environment Understanding of Operational Data Store (ODS), Dimensional data model, Facts & Dimensions as relates to Business Intelligence Ability to translate business questions and requirements into Microsoft SSAS OLAP cubes functionality Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction, good communication and team work skills Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field, 5 Years years experience previous experience in BI, Data Warehousing, MSFT SSAS, OLAP technologies.
