HR Generalist/Consultant
The Human Resources Generalist/Consultant role is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of HR solutions aligned to the business and HR strategy. Working directly with designated business units, the HR Consultant provides HR solutions support, process knowledge advice and consultation. Working collaboratively with the COEs and HRBPs, the HR Consultant will influence and execute HR processes and initiatives. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas, including, but not limited to: employee relations, training, performance management, new hire onboarding, off-boarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. As a member of the HR Field Team, this role serves on the HR front lines in support of the business.

Responsibilities:
Provides Human Resources advice, support, consultation and guidance , including application of HR policies and processes, to assigned business unit and employees.
Maintains ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Navigates and assists in the resolution of employee issues; lead employee relations initiatives and investigations to ensure a positive and fair work environment.
Facilitates New Hire Orientation and activities as part of onboarding process.
Conducts exit interviews and related activities as part of the off-boarding process.
Ensures timely response to inquiries and requests from employees.
Supports change management related to the implementation of organizational effectiveness solutions.
Develops and maintains an understanding of business and plans through exposure to business activities.
Gathers and analyzes feedback from business unit and may partner with HR Business Partner and /or Field HR Manager in developing and implementing solutions.
Collaborates with the COEs to execute HR processes and associated activities (Benefits/LOA, Compensation, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition etc.)
Collaborates with Immigration Specialist on a variety of employment-based visa matters.
Implements large scale initiatives (i.e., annual performance review process, employee engagement survey, new programs/policies, etc.).
Ensures proper maintenance of confidential employee information.
Participates in the selection process for recruitment of key positions.
Provides information and tools to support effective delivery of HR services and processes, including HR related systems (talent management, timecards, etc.).
Facilitates compliance with company policies and coaches internal customers/business partners on Skyworks values
May support integration activities for newly acquired businesses.
Up to 25% travel may be required due to location of designated business unit, seminar attendance and/or integration activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or HR, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred;
Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience
Knowledge of national and local employment laws, labor relations and regulations.
Employment based immigration knowledge or experience
Solid experience in driving positive employee relations, to include strong problem solving and investigative skills
Self-motivated, professional, ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt to change in job duties
PHR/SPHR or equivalent preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
