Manufacturer Brand Manager (Mazda) - Auto Finance - Irvine, CA or Phoenix, AZ
Job Description:
The Mazda Brand Manager is responsible for working with the client, Mazda North American Operations, to develop and implement finance programs that support sales and loyalty objectives. This is a multi-faceted job that also includes working on new product development, managing marketing initiatives, working with the pricing and finance teams on programs as well as managing relationships with senior Mazda executives.
The Brand Manager is responsible for ensuring we meet profitability targets while collaborating with the client on developing subvented finance programs for the dealers. Additionally, the Brand Manager will work closely with the sales and credit teams to review competitive data from the market to develop new and/or enhanced programs and to be an advisor to the manufacturer. Additional responsibilities include analysis and understanding of the key drivers of pricing and providing recommendations to ensure competitiveness and target compliance on all finance products.
Other key responsibilities include proper management of controls for the business a well as leading initiatives that support the overall business needs. The Brand Manager also ensures communication with the client by managing the Lease and Operations Committee forums.
The Brand Manager is also responsible for interfacing with the client around marketing programs that support conquest and loyalty initiatives. This requires developing relationships around JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) to obtain resources and support to ensure deliverables are met around the marketing objectives.
Mazda Capital Services (MCS) is the private label finance company for Mazda North American Operations in the U.S. The MCS team works with both the Mazda corporate group as well as their five regions and the dealers. Our goal and responsibility is to support the initiatives of the Mazda client and manage a strong, consistent finance experience for our mutual customers.
Location: Position may be based in our Irvine, CA office or our Phoenix, AZ office.

years experience in Auto Finance industry with manufacturer experience a plus
Finance background preferred, but not required
Experience in managing multi-faceted projects
Sales and Client management experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
