Our Client needs a Senior Java Engineer AWS for a Full Time position near Irvine, CA.

The Business Solutions Technologies (BST) is searching for a Senior Engineer to provide architecture, design and development of various features of our cloud application to provide our services to be run and supported by subsidiaries world-wide. As a Senior Engineer, you will work closely in our development team to provide high availability cloud services to customers. Join our dynamic team and help us launch cloud services in the US and Europe markets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - MAJOR
Responsibilities:
Understand contemporary cloud service architectures and processes and be a key contributor to long term product enhancement for client
Extend cloud offerings by providing design and specifications for new applications and systems working with planning on organization
Develop components in Java/JavaScript and work on web app performance optimization to deliver high throughput web applications with contemporary Angular JS user interfaces
Work with internal groups and external vendors to roll out a high quality product to worldwide customers on a predictable timeline
Review and understand a complex cloud deployment and optimize the architecture for maximum performance and cost effectiveness
MUST - SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Deployment of commercial products on Amazon Web Services
Direct experience with Java, OSGI frameworks, JS Stack (AngularJS, Bower, Grunt)
Requires 5-10 years of direct development experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS for web based app development
Experience with PostgreSQL performance aspects
Fluent in use of common Java development tools like Eclipse or equivalent
DESIRED - SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Python on Windows and Mac platforms
Experience with Github, Jenkins, Selenium is helpful
.Net/C# or C/C+
background desirable since some components exist that need adaptation to Java
Knowledge and understand of IaaS and PaaS high-availability systems
Familiarity with systems administration of Linux and Windows servers
