Seeking individual with BS Engineering and 5
years experience with injection molding process, equipment, and tooling and automated assembly.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lean processes, new equipment, new tooling, new materials and new manufacturing techniques.
Support new product development from a manufacturability context.
Manage capital projects from concept to implementation.
Conceptual design, final design approval, ordering, implementation and qualification of molds and tooling.
Drive Kaizens implementing lean methods such as: 5S, Poke Yoke, Visual Management, TPM, Quick Change, Single Piece Flow and Kanban.
Work to to reduce scrap, rework, direct labor costs, set-up, quality cost and lead time.
Conduct experiments to determine optimum manufacturing processes.
Utilize scientific molding expertise coupled with cutting edge all-electric molding machines and integrated multi-axis robotics to produce highly engineered parts, components and assemblies for Aerospace, Medical, Micro Electronics, Micro Optics and Military Applications.
