Accounts Receivable Clerk

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Utilizes computerized accounting software programs (CMS, Excel, Word) to perform duties and responsibilities.
Generates accounting statements and reports.
Maintains deposit log and files Invoice customers in a timely manner.
Apply cash receipts to open invoices.
Review AR Aging Reports and collect from customers as needed.
Manage files for AR.
Other administrative task as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A High School Diploma or G.
E.
D.
Associate's degree in accounting preferred.
1-3 years hands-on Accounting experience.
Proficient with MS Word/Excel.
Previous Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.
Strong attention to details and effective organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and self motivated.
Positive attitude.
Ability to handle multiple projects and complete tasks by required deadlines.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work efficiently sort, check, count, and verify numbers Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours; possibly work weekends or evenings Ability to use 10-key calculator for a variety of accounting functions Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever-changing work environment Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction Experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems.
Good mathematical background Retail Merchandising and/or Consumer electronic experience would be beneficial.
We have offices in Bloomington, New Zealand and China so experience in International environment would be an advantage.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
