Area Manager - Equity Residential (Aliso Viejo, CA)

Area Manager Under the direction of a Regional Manager, the Area Manager will be responsible for the overall operations of 2-5 communities. Specific responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising community employees; on-site inspections; preparing and monitoring the annual budget, operating plans, marketing plans, etc. This position essentially requires a close working relationship with a Regional Manager in order to prepare and train the Area Manager to assume additional community responsibilities in anticipation of moving into a regional management role. BA/BS degree preferred along with a minimum of three years multi-site property management and supervisory experience preferred. Customer service, leasing and fair housing knowledge required. WIZ and BCL knowledge preferred. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills necessary. Able to effectively interact with various personality types with various experience/educational levels. Computer literacy/word processing skills required. Marketing and sales experience is desirable. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
