We are a Employment Law/ Intellectual Property Law boutique located in Irvine.
This Associate Attorney position is for our wage and hour team.
The position involves significant court appearances, discovery, law and motion practice, drafting pleadings and motions, and defending depositions.
Qualified candidates will:
(1) Have 1 year of experience with civil litigation; (2) Have made court appearances; (3) Have writing samples from recent work available for review; (4) have a desire to learn.
You will work under the direction of our employment attorney, and will be expected to manage and run your own cases.
Qualifications:
Admitted to California Bar At least 1 year of civil litigation experience Experience in employment litigation a plus, but not required Have made Court Appearances The salary range for this position is $85,000-$90,000 depending upon experience and qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
