Receptionist/Assistant Groomer needed for a very busy pet grooming salon in Tustin California.
El Camino Pet Grooming is a Full-Service Pet Grooming Business, looking for an Experienced PART-TIME Tuesday - Wednesday & Saturday PET RECEPTIONIST/Assistant Groomer are paid hourly at $17 and up based on experience.
Must have excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a busy environment.
As a team member at El Camino Pet Grooming, we believe that creating a safe, healthy, and happy environment is crucial to each dog's well-being.
The most important requirement is the compassionate treatment of the animals.
We expect each animal will be cared for with patience, kindness, and only humane handling practices.
Breed standard knowledge, bathing, blow dry dogs, clip nails, clean ears, anal glands expressions.
Assist groomer blow drying and must be able to perform handle answering phones, scheduling appointments, taking in dogs, putting dogs in kennel and retrieving dogs from kennels.
Process POS System and reconcile cash register and verify against appointment log with receipts.
Clean cages, sweep floors, throw out trash and vacuum.
Able to lift up to 40lbs.

The perfect candidate is someone that is very skilled punctual, patient, gentle, works well in groups, and will have a genuine concern for the feelings of our customers and their beloved companions.
