Abigail's Helpful Hand's Abigail's Helpful Hand's Orange County, CA Orange County, CA Temporary Part-time Full-time Temporary Part-time Full-time From $35 an hour From $35 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago We have a team of male caregivers, that are called Gentle Giants.
They are able to be present when patients are having issues with thier moods or being aggressive.
Verbally going out of control, these caregivers are put in place to resolve & fellowship with the patient rather than become afraid and call the authorites.
The Gentle Giant is able to help and focus on the needs on the patient and get to a quick resolve.
We have a lot of patients that are former NFL and NHL players, they have been diagnosed with Cognitive disabilities under the age of 35, leaving them looking fine on the outside but having struggles mentally.
It is difficult for them to voice what they need help with, when are irritaed from physical pain and the forgetfulness begins or they lash out from things that happened in thier lives years before.
The family sometimes ends up caring for them because professional hired care will not deal with that type of abuse.
We encourage all involved to have a prayful approch.
Being that you are care for paients who are disabled, it dose involve risks.
We try to mediate and deter any aggressive situation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
