This executive position will work with the CEO to build the foundation's infrastructure and policies; set a strategic vision for the organization; build and articulate a case for support to potential giving partners; manage the foundation's staff, operations, and finances; collaborate with the team and act as the foundation's leading advocate among other foundations, general public, and other aligned groups.
Functions:
The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned leader with a visionary's energy for building and expanding philanthropy and non-profit leadership support.
They will design and implement an aggressive fundraising strategy that meets budgeted goals and sets the stage for future expanded fundraising.
Strengthens and builds relations with key stakeholders and strategic partners in the community.
Oversees budgeting required for the healthy operation of the foundation.
Creates a collegial work environment that seeks healthy, sustainable growth with a commitment to transparency, trust, and collaboration across the organization.
Works collaboratively with staff, board members, and donors to stabilize and strengthen the organization's finances and governance.

yrs of non-profit leadership experience in a senior philanthropy position.
Proficient in Microsoft programs, Salesforce, and other platforms.
Clearly demonstrated knowledge and experience in philanthropy, development, public policy, governance, and board development.
Significantly honed communication skills including public speaking, written communications, knowledge of public relations, and social and traditional media skills will be highly beneficial in building the visibility of the foundation.
Integrity and a commitment to the vision and values of the foundation will be crucial.
