This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to apply their expertise in the engineering industry and move into a Management role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, testing, and implementation of photovoltaic (PV) systems, as well as project management and various other electrical engineering tasks.
This role requires a minimum of 5
years of relevant experience.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1.
Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
2.
Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
3.
Lead the development and execution of photovoltaic (PV) system projects, including design, procurement, deployment, testing, and commissioning.
4.
Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
5.
Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
6.
Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
7.
Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.
8.
Provide training and support to the engineering team members as needed.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate for the Senior Electrical Engineer position should possess the following:
1.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
2.
A minimum of 5
years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly with photovoltaic (PV) systems.
3.
Proven experience in project management, including the ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion.
4.
Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
5.
Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
6.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
7.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
8.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9.
Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and apply new knowledge to work.
