OC Goes Solarhas a half-time opening for a Operations/Communications Coordinator to become an integral part of our team! Among other projects, we manage the City of Irvine's Solarize Irvineprogram, a rooftop solar promotion campaign, and partner with the California PUC SOMAHprogram to put solar on multifamily affordable housing.
A person with substantive experience working in nonprofits, government, or the like in support of community outreach and project management would be ideal.
That said, belief in our mission to make clean energy accessible to all, creative passion, people skills, and willingness to learn are more important than experience.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve organizational goals Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient execution of all projects Manage day to day operations and communications.
Data entry and management Contribute to short and long-term planning and strategy Assist in generate presentations and reports Create social media content calendar and posting for all events Ensure regular website updates with relevant content, photos, and videos.
Assist in fundraising & generate grant proposals and reports Ability to manage resources efficiently, optimizing productivity while maintaining high quality standards Experience in process improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions for increased efficiency Execute projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints Update contracts and agreements with external stakeholders, vendors, and partners Continuously evaluate processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
1-2 years experience in operations, public outreach & project management.
Bachelor's degree.
Excellent communication, written and oral, and people skills.
Knowledge of compliance implications of non-profit status is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Data Visualization tools.
Knowledge of Salesforce and other CRM management is a plus Bilingual in Spanish, Chinese or Korean is prefered - Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
