Assistant Manager -Restaurant (Monday to Friday 12:00pm to 8:30pm)
Description Position at Glidewell Dental Essential Functions :
Ensure guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all time.
Ensures food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurants recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
Achieves company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
Controls cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
Assists in the daily operations of the restaurant from ordering, purchasing, receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products to guest relations, flow of business, and service standards.
Assists with managing the flow of the business during business hours.
Helps quality controls all areas of the restaurant during dining period.
Ensures the standard of food, service, safety, and cleanliness is maintained and executed.
Engages customers, delivering superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
Address and resolve any concerns and/or complaints.
Monitors cash flow and ensures accuracy of drawer cash outs.
Assists in the interviewing, hiring, and training of personnel.
Performs performance management and disciplinary action as needed.
Help develops work schedules for maximum efficiency and as workflow designates.
Reviews cost and usage reports and advises management on popular and unpopular food and beverage items.
Inform management of supplies, products, and/or any other inventory items needed.
Assists with food preparation and any other facets of the restaurant when needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Performs other related duties and projects as required by management.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one (1) year of restaurant management.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
Special Requirements/Certification:
Valid Californias drivers license and proof of insurance required.
ServSafe Manager Certification required.
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required.
