Summary:
The Lead IT Technician provides second level support to resolve technical issues that are reported to IT.
Responds to and oversees first level technical help desk requests from associates.
Provides support to associates with the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of computer workstations, printer hardware, software and other related devices.
Maintains computer hardware and software inventory.
This is an Onsite position at our Administrative office in Irvine where you will work 9am-6pmor 10am-7pm.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the resolution of all first level technical help desk requests received from associates.
Provides second level support for matters of a sensitive or more complex nature.
Provides support on Active Directory/Windows Server and Terminal Services environment.
Creates and maintains physical and logical data, telecom and software specifications.
Provides technical assistance to Senior Network Engineer and other Information Technology staff members with any LAN/WAN related issues.
Conducts installation, upgrades and/or maintenance of all necessary hardware and software.
Maintains computer hardware and software inventory.
May provide first level telephone support for VOIP/Video Conferencing system, documents and has clear understanding of all IP and DCHP address schemas.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, Voice/Data Communications or a related field preferred.
Knowledge/
Experience:
Five to seven years of experience supporting LAN/WAN, AD, Windows OS environment with at least 25
nodes.
Experience and knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server OS, Microsoft Application, IP Protocol & Subnets, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Exchange.
Experience supporting secondary education environment preferred but not necessary.
Ability to work effectively in a highly ethnic and culturally diverse student and associate community.
Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Salary:
$66,123 - $95,888 Great Benefits Package #LI-CM1 #HEJ.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
