Overview Alteryx is looking for a Vice President, Total Rewards, to lead its compensation, benefits, and global rewards teams.
The role will require the individual to manage the design and implementation of innovative, best-in-class rewards strategies to attract, reward and retain top talent.
You will report to the Chief People Officer and be a key member of the People & Culture leadership team, collaborating to develop a talent strategy that help drives the company's success.
As a functional expert in global total rewards strategies, you will be responsible for broad-based and executive compensation, short- and long-term incentives, salary and hourly reviews, health, welfare, savings and pension plans, global mobility and immigration.
You will work closely with internal functions (Finance, Sales Ops, IT, etc) and external partners/vendors to deliver creative and market-sensitive Total Rewards strategies that are consistent, scalable and effective.
The successful candidate will use a proactive and strategic approach to ensure that rewards are competitive, drive results, are aligned with company culture and are understood and valued by employees.
Responsibilities Develop and execute a competitive and comprehensive Global Total Rewards strategy designed to attract and retain world-class talent in a competitive environment and ever-changing economic landscape.
Design and implement global compensation and benefits strategies and programs that align with enterprise goals and priorities.
Leverage knowledge of market conditions and competitive talent landscape to design tailored strategies for compensation for key talent segments.
Direct job analysis, evaluation, market pricing and salary survey initiatives in an open and transparent fashion.
Oversee and govern non-cash programs, including our recognition and rewards programs, to support our culture and overall engagement.
Partner closely with Talent partners in development of key frameworks including - promotion guidelines, career ladders, levelling criteria/frameworks Lead the development of overall compensation strategy, including global programs and long-term incentive design.
Effectively manage compensation programs in a geographically dispersed and partially remote workforce.
Proactively predict markets and differing compensation strategies in various geographies.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations both in the U.
S.
and internationally, collaborating with internal groups.
Partner with outside experts, including consultants, carriers, third-party administrators and outside counsel, for matters such as benchmarking, plan design, coverage, renewals and communications.
Note:
this includes oversight and governance of 3rd party service providers to ensure company needs are met, they're delivering according to expectations and we're managing spend effectively.
Develop comprehensive and integrated communication strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and understanding of our programs; Serve as functional business owner for Total Rewards, guiding all prioritization decisions related to our systems and technology implementations and enhancements.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure our materials/collateral used for purposes of recruiting are competitive and drive our employee value proposition.
Oversee the preparation of the annual benefits budget and periodic forecasts.
Drive thought leadership to address current and emerging compensation and benefits trends and issues.
Bring the outside-in view, guiding our decision making process.
Lead the Total Rewards team, ensuring the ongoing development of direct reports.
Provide constructive and timely performance feedback.
Serve as an integral member of the People & Culture leadership team to advise on programs impacting the organization as a whole and collaborate with HR business partners to understand and address the unique needs of various client groups; collaborate with colleagues in other key departments, including Finance, Legal, Payroll, Accounting, Tax, Equity Administration, and Corporate Communications (to name a few).
Deep understanding of equity and executive compensation programs (performance awards, RSUs, etc.
).
Serve as internal functional expert to our Compensation Committee, owning and driving our agenda relevant to key focus areas.
Preferred:
experience in sales comp design to help provide oversight and governance in our commission-based programs and plans.

Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field 10
years of progressively responsible experience in HR; 7
years of experience in leading compensation and benefits teams.
Advanced Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint (or Google Sheets and Slides) skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to benefit programs, compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
Experience in sales plan design Experience designing compensation and benefits programs, guidelines and processes and guiding strategy in these areas.
Workday-specific experience preferred.
