Essential Functions/Responsibilities Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations Evaluating employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances Monthly maintenance of Unemployment/Leave of Absence/Workers Comp Logs/OSHA 300 Log Administer and track Leave of Absences, including EDD Disability Administer and monitor Worker's Compensation claims Provide assistance to employees with general employee relations issues.
Keep current and knowledgeable on all Powerstone HR policies, procedures, compliance issues, forms and documentation Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field, minimum four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies Advanced knowledge of MS Office, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed Proven experience working in an HR department Natural interpersonal and communication skills Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset Knowledge of HR state and federal laws and regulations Job Type:
