Sr Engineer, Embedded Instrument Software

Summary:
The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, implement, and maintain Embedded Software for our next generation medical devices.
As part of our Instrument Software team, this position will work closely with the Engineering team to develop interfaces between the software and hardware layers for our devices.
Responsibilities:
Design, Implementation and Maintenance of Software Software Documentation Software Specification and Testing Minimum Requirements:
Experience in development of software utilizing C and Assembly, scripting languages.
Excellent debugging and trouble-shooting abilities.
Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies.
Knowledge of Embedded Systems design.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
Experience with Software Configuration Management.
Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to excel in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.

in Computer Science or Engineering.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Embedded communications software development.
Low level Embedded device drivers.
Microprocessor/microcontroller/board bring-up.
Inter-process communication methods.
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Bare metal development.
Real Time Operating System.
Wireless connectivity:
Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Wi-Fi, NFC.
Compensation:
The anticipated range for this position is $114k - $170k.
Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
