CarpenterPrincipal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform drywall repairs Repair floors (linoleum, carpeting, tile, etc.
) Repair and/or replace faucets and related components.
Hang doors and associated hardware Minor plumbing repairs General building maintenance and repairs Maintains effective communications with team and customers.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Provide own hand tools.
Concrete pads/repairs.
T-Bar ceilings.
Job Specifications (incl.
Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.
) Possess knowledge of commercial construction, maintenance and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety.
Read blueprints.
5 years general carpentry experience with proficient experience in operating various hand power tools.
Possess mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to do material estimates.
Must be able to move/lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders and work at various heights.
Valid driver's license.
Must be willing to submit to a drug screen/background check.
Must have a minimum of 5 years in all phases of commercial/residential construction and / or maintenance and able to understand verbal and written instructions.
