RAD Studio Software Engineer 100% Remote Direct Hire/Contract Job ID 2023-8654 We are looking for a C+
RAD Studio Software Engineer.
This is a direct-hire/contract opportunity based out of Irvine, CA (100% Remote).
As a C+
RAD Studio Software Engineer, you are responsible for delivering high-quality and performant software to a Windows client and server application suite.
You will be dealing with low-level TCP communications, highly configurable customer deployments that interact with oracle database environments, low-level PDF generation, and proprietary XML communication protocols.
Qualifications:
Excited by low-level technology.
Deeply knowledgeable about Windows C+
APIs.
Knowledgeable of TCP socket communication patterns.
Familiar with Delphi.
Knowledgeable of FireDAC.
Knowledgeable of Windows VCL.
Loves to work and collaborate with a team.
Able to work in a remote environment with virtual meetings and async communication.
Familiar with accessibility best practices and UI/UX within a Windows Application context.
Skilled in migrating legacy technology to modern tools and patterns.
Responsibilities:
Get up to speed quickly on a complex and custom application suite written for Windows using Embarcadero's RAD Studio.
Create or modify visual application components/forms in VCL.
Evolve SQLite and PostgreSQL application databases.
Develop modular, maintainable code with guidance in accordance with departmental practices.
Work through prioritized tickets within the team queue.
Contribute to sizing, estimation, and planning processes to provide visibility and predictability to the business.
Review team code for quality and mentorship.
Drive initiatives forward with leadership and communication.
Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, NJ, NY, WA:
$130,000 to $150,000.
Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
