Summary:
The Facilities Coordinator & Custodian is responsible for performing skilled and lead custodial work involving the care, maintenance of the Sanctuary, office space, buildings and related facilities.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Facilities and Operations Prepare and clean campus facilities for weekend, weekday, and special events Restock products in bathrooms, kitchens.
Maintain at appropriate levels.
Ensure campus appearance, buildings, signage meet company standards.
Identify and coordinate with Facility Manager planned and unplanned maintenance projects Develop and coordinate facility improvement projects as needed with Facility Manager.
Assists in receiving and distributing supplies, equipment, and packages.
Sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning offices, remove trash, window cleanings, etc.
Safety and Security Assists with emergencies, which may include, flooding, storm clean up.
Responsible for regular inspection of church premises of areas of need.
Additional duties as assigned Job Skills & Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors and team members.
Active focus on supporting positive relationships; treating people with dignity, respect, integrity and/or compassion.
Flexible to meet the requirements of the department and overall ministry.
Great time management, organization and prioritization abilities Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with competing time and priority demands.
Detail-oriented self-starter who can track multiple projects at once Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Crystal Cathedral Ministries is desirable.
Has the ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of information as appropriate.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and comfortable standing or walking for long periods.
Must be able to climb tall ladders, ascend scaffolding and ride in lifts at great height.
Must be able to crawl in tight spaces and work on knees when needed.
