New World is an open world MMO set in an alternate version of the 17th Century where players will fight for survival as they explore and conquer the mysterious island of Aeternum.
As a Level Designer on the Seasons team you'll be responsible for creating, implementing, and curating Points of Interest (POIs), encounters, and puzzles for seasonal content.
You will work collaboratively with world builders, AI designers, and quest designers to support storytelling and make memorable points of interest for players to explore.
You will be instrumental in efforts to grow holiday and seasonal events with new experiences for players to enjoy every year.
It will be a combination of your experience, and an understanding of MMO/RPG world and encounter design that will define success.
We are looking for individuals that are highly motivated and passionate for games.
In this role you willCreate fun and exciting encounters and spaces for players to adventure withinCreate and maintain Design Documentation while working across teams.
Update and manage data for characters, rewards, and loreDesign and Script Objectives, Puzzles and GameplayCreate 2D maps for world and encounter designs and implement them in gameWork within technical pipelines and processes to ensure quality and scope are met and maintainedCollaborate with quest, character, and art teamsMaintain a strong creative relationship between production, design, programming, art, VFX, and SFX teamsDesign new experiences for Holiday and Seasonal eventsKey job responsibilitiesLead the Level Design effort for the Seasons team, Gameplay Implementation, Gameplay Scripting.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
