As a Facility Supervisor you will be hands on while leading a team of facilities maintenance and cleaning personnel to support both the repairs, cleaning, and overall upkeep of the non-aseptic manufacturing, laboratory and office environments promoting an environment that is clean, safe, and conducive to high productivity and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities:
Supervise, assign and support facilities maintenance, cleaning, event set up/take down, moving of equipment/furniture, etc.
, ensuring timely execution of scheduled tasks as well as communications and follow up on non-scheduled employee requests, remaining on-call in order to address emergency issues when needed Oversee the hiring and use of contractors and contracted maintenance employees working on company property and equipment, ensuring they work safely and efficiently.
Manage space planning services including the planning/coordination of equipment location modifications, new equipment installations or removals, office and seating arrangements, etc.
Manage the contracts, permits, and construction planning for all new additions and/or modifications to the interior and exterior of the Irvine sites.
Design, build and/or seek out additional building space to meet expected growth.
Ensure compliance to necessary regulations when making any approved facility modifications.
Open and close exceptions, change controls, and CAPA's in a timely manner in accordance with relevant procedures.
Act as the lead SME for investigations requiring engineering input conducting formal root cause analysis and generating supporting documentation as needed.
Provide feedback to employee and management regarding noteworthy employee performance, make recommendations for employee coaching and counseling and advancement where applicable.
Mentor, motivate and challenge to drive high performance and develop team members, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
Oversee workplace cleanliness by implementing, managing and monitoring the 5S method of organization.
Promote a culture of safety, whereby all accidents are preventable, and support site safety initiatives.
Make recommendations to management with regards to potential business opportunities and/or process improvements.

Qualifications and
Experience:
Four (4) to six (6) years industry related work experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in scientific or engineering discipline required.
Engineering certification preferred.
Developing knowledge of cGMP regulations, and FDA and ICH guidelines as they pertain to aseptic manufacturing operations.
Mechanical utility systems including HVAC, steam, high purity systems.
Automated monitoring and control systems design including instrumentation and industrial electrical wiring practices.
Demonstrated problem-solving /decision-making skills with the ability to prepare contingency plans and future strategies proactively.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to take programs from concept to execution and manage all stages.
The starting salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually.
