Omega Accounting Solution is in hyper growth mode and is seeking a Legal Research Specialist to join our incentives team.
The Legal Research Specialist will collaborate with our tax incentives department to conduct legal research on administrative law for our clients' cases.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Process, analyze, and review a high volume of client cases requiring legal research Liaise with department team members regarding legal research and reports Ensure appropriate internal processes and procedures are followed Prepare writeups / memorandums / summarizations of relevant law Use research findings and information to update relevant departments Analyze research documents and resources for accuracy Compile research notes and maintain office databases to include all completed and ongoing research Work closely with internal team to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Willingness to take on special projects as the needed Complete other duties at the discretion of management ABOUT YOU Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and collaboration skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong analytical and organization skills Capacity to prioritize projects, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines Ability to draft and review legal reports Ability to consistently uphold internal processes and procedures Strong legal reasoning skills QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree is required 3-5 years of relevant experience in conducting legal research and writing 5
years of legal assistant experience or 3-5 years of paralegal experience, or 1 - 2 years attorney legal experience Experience researching and analyzing administrative law Paralegal certificate or relevant professional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department setting a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required Job Type:
