7 Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW The Area Operations Manager (AOM) directs and oversees the operations of Egg N Bird's corporate stores.
The AOM is a multi-unit manager who manages the corporate stores' General Managers.
The AOM is responsible for operational excellence, including guest service, store cleanliness & organization, and staffing as well as sales growth, profitability, and improving the Egg N Bird business model.
KEY METRICS Guest Satisfaction/Social Media Scores Sales Growth Profitability Operational Compliance Evaluation Score Team Member Satisfaction and Retention ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Ensures that each store performs to a high level of operational excellence.
Manages each store's profitability to meet KPI standard costs.
Prepares, analyzes, and delivers on a weekly basis, a KPI report for each store.
Spends the majority of time in stores monitoring and improving performance and coaching the Team.
Coaches and leads General Managers.
Ensures stores are properly staffed, that employees are properly trained & treated well, and that all Human Resources standards are followed.
Is readily available to General Managers, Shift Leads, and Team Members to answer questions, solve problems, and provide advice as needed.
Works with corporate departments to grow and improve the business; Marketing, IT, Human Resources, Accounting.
Supports new store openings.
Assists in Franchisee training.
Creates and organizes an annual strategic business plan for each unit based on operational and financial goals.
CORE COMPETENCIES Strong restaurant operational business knowledge:
sales growth, cost controls, human resources, IT.
Able to direct, coach, and provide insight to Store Managers and to hold them accountable for standards.
Diverse functional knowledge of restaurant industry concepts, procedures, and practices.
Proficient in understanding, analyzing, and improving company-wide and unit level P&L statements.
Ability to work independently and effectively with little supervision.
Strong management expertise with exceptional organization and planning skills.
Ability to hold confidential and sensitive information with the utmost integrity.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS) Two to Three years restaurant Multi-Unit Manager experience.
Expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Operational knowledge of health regulations and requirements within the restaurant industry.
Operational knowledge of human resources management.
Proficient in English, both in verbal and written word.
Possess Current ServSafe Certificate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Continuous (67-100%) Walking, standing, hand use, keyboard, 10 key.
Frequent (34-66%) Bending, neck flexion, twisting and lifting up to 25 lbs from shoulder to shoulder, carrying up to 25-40 lbs up to 100 feet, pushing and pulling, fine manipulation, firm grasping, reach above to below shoulder.
Occasional (11-33%) Squatting, climbing, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to shoulder, gross manipulation.
Seldom (1-10%) Sitting, climbing, lifting up to 10-25 lbs from floor to above head, lifting 26-50 lbs from waist to above head, carrying up to 50 lbs up to 200 feet, cash register.
