Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Field Operations to join our team and lead our fiber service deployment efforts.
The Director, Field Operations will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our field teams, ensuring that our fiber internet services are installed and maintained to the highest standards, and done so in effective, efficient, and friendly manner.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for operational efficiency, a deep understanding of the fiber internet industry, and the ability to manage warehouse operations and a team of field technicians.
Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of our field teams, including scheduling, resource allocation, warehouse management, and quality control Develop and implement best practices for field operations, including process improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures Facilitates and drives completion of all specific deliverables required to support project and priorities Provide leadership and direction to drop technicians and customer installers, ensuring that they have the tools, training, and support they need to be successful Ensure that our drop technicians and customer installers are installing and maintaining at the highest standards, in accordance with company policies and procedures Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that our customers have positive experiences, especially at the earliest touch points, in their interactions with our service Design and implement inventory and warehouse management policies and systems Select and outfit vehicles and supplies for drop technicians and customer installers Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement Track and report on key performance metrics, including installation times, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency Requirements and Skills Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field 10
years of experience in field operations, with a focus on internet services and/or residential customer interactions Strong knowledge of the fiber internet industry, including installation and maintenance processes and best practices Comprehensive understanding of OSHA rules and regulations, both federal and state Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage a team of field technicians Ability to develop and implement best practices for field operations, including process improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint Experience with project management tools is a must About the Company Cityside Networks is an emerging telecommunications infrastructure developer and internet service provider with a primary purpose to create a revolutionary shared digital infrastructure platform that enables life-changing connectivity in each community we serve.
