We are looking for a Head of Customer Insights who is passionate about delivering data driven insights and strategic and analytical thinking to drive crucial business decisions for our growing Amazon Games publishing business.
This is a full-time role, reporting to the Director of Global Marketing and Partnerships at Amazon Games, with a high level of interaction with leaders across Global Publishing, Development Studios, and Marketing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
In this role, you will lead the research efforts for the game publishing business.
You will work with leadership and other stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and recommend the best solutions for providing customer data and insights to inform global business, game and marketing decisions.
This includes customer segmentation, brand trackers, industry insights and trend reports, benchmarking reports, audience and opportunity sizing, product positioning and testing of marketing.
The right candidate loves to focus on discovering and answering not just what is happening, but why, and to connect multiple disparate data sources and observations to tell a story that helps surface new opportunities and influence our roadmaps.
You bring demonstrated experience in audience segmentation and industry research, customer insights and brand measurement in a consumer-facing business and will be responsible for:
Key job responsibilitieso Lead a small team of in-house researchers focused on ensuring video game titles and content are competitive and provide optimal product fit.
o Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape in order to proactively and independently suggest and execute quantitative and qualitative research to inform key decisions for existing and potential customers.
o Design, implement, and synthesize custom research, focus group, and playtest studies using internal resources and third party vendors.
o Discover, suggest, and integrate additional syndicated data sources that collectively enable us to triangulate into the best decision making via the best understanding of customer behaviors and needs.
o Assist with strategic input based on trends in pricing, timing, and value proposition associated with live operations and in-game content on a global basis.
o Lead analysis of customer usage patterns to drive deep insights, including trends and demographics.
Develop succinct updates for senior leadership describing not just what is happening, but why, and the implications of the data.
o Support writing of updates and deep dive documents for senior leadership.

The role requires seamless movement from tactical (pulling data, writing surveys) to strategic tasks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
