Job summaryWe are seeking a US immigration expert to support Amazonians in their immigration journey.
As a Customer Advocate, this role provides direct to employee support to ensure employees have the support they need when they need it.
This role is a critical position on the front lines of the customer experience, consulting on and contributing to larger initiatives.
The Customer Advocate is entrusted with caring for fellow Amazonians and ensuring they never feel alone in their immigration experience.
The ideal candidate is also someone who places a high value on earning trust with customers to maintain the highest standards of customer confidence.
Key job responsibilitieso Respond to inquiries regarding immigration, including displacement or transfer strategies, by working closely with employees, managers, HR, recruiting, external counsel, and other leaders on the immigration teamo Provide holistic and consultative support to business lines, HR and recruiting on the current immigration landscape, internal Amazon guidelines, and/or education on new or changing policieso Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement to ensure scalability and a high-quality customer experienceo Contribute to ongoing team training and development by improving SOPs, best practices and other learning resourceso Recommend and consult on developing immigration resources that promote self-service and consult on projects to develop communication and content strategieso Partner with immigration specialists around the world to build processes and customer support programs that scale globallyo Work with others on the immigration team to contribute to projects, including developing dashboards to support consultative services for the business and interpreting customer anecdotes and data to inform global project strategies and deliverablesAbout the teamAmazon's Immigration team is a group of project managers, analysts, and experienced immigration subject matter experts who act as strategic partners and consultants to business leaders and partner support teams.
The team centrally manages global immigration filings and the vendors that support Amazon, and delivers projects to improve cost, quality, policy, compliance, and experience for immigration services at Amazon.
This role must be based in one of our offices in either Arlington-VA, Seattle-WA, Dallas-TX, Boston-MA, New York-NY, San Francisco-CA or Irvine-CA.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
