Job summaryAWS is seeking a User Researcher for IoT Devices to help us better understand our customers' needs and collaborate with the cross-functional team to build a cohesive experience for operator and builder end users.
Customer audiences for this work will include partners, developer communities, and end users.
This is a highly innovative space where user experience is a core strategic focus for 2022 and beyond.
The IoT Devices cross-functional team values understanding customers from a persona and user journey perspective, and the research in this area will help to address ambiguity and illuminate clarity to drive direction for the AWS IoT products and business.
Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be part of a team strategizing to discover ways to improve customers' experience of digitally transforming their businesses through IoT technology, and you will listen to customers to help prioritize which problems to tackle through innovation.
Responsibilities include:
o Be a strong team player that operates as a peer to product management and engineering in defining the customer-centric approach to product development.
o Determine the best research approach to inform product development which could be a mix of quantitative, qualitative and participatory design methods.
o Provide research leadership to support discovery of core customer journeys, prioritization of pain points to address, and measurement to track improved developer productivity.
o Effectively translate data and insights into strategy and product direction.
o Continually learn, grow, and improve the craft of UX research.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
