Director, Sales Training - Plastics & Regenerative Medicine

Responsible for the direction of training and development of programs for the Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine - Hospital Surgical and Aesthetic Surgical Sales Teams. Ensures training and development is planned, developed, MLRC approved and directed in order to meet short- and long-range goals for representatives and managers in an increasingly complex environment for product lines, skill sets and competition. Focus is on ensuring the current and future training and development needs of the Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine teams are met. Is responsible for the planning and execution of all sales meetings for training and execution of key sales and marketing objectives. Oversees Sales Communication function including ensuring that communication, reporting and marketing information are organized to minimize field sales disruption and maximize retention to the sales organization and internal support groups. Directs and coordinates all communication to and from the field sales forces. Acts as the key interface for training and execution of key sales and marketing objectives. Plans, develops and directs the execution of all training and development programs for the US Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine. Develops and coordinates all training programs in order to prepare the sales and marketing organizations to meet the changing needs of the marketplace, our customers and the corporation. Also, is responsible for executing in conjunction with internal teams and external vendors, companywide training and development programs. As part of the training development program, makes recommendations for labor changes, deployment and succession planning for the US Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine training teams. Additionally, spends enough field time with customers, managers and representatives to evaluate current training, meeting and communication results and gain insight into how to adjust accordingly. Schedules, plans and directs all sales training classes and oversees all agendas to ensure short- and long-term objectives of the sales and marketing strategies are met and all material presented is MLRC approved. This includes all levels of HSR and ASR sales training from entry level to advanced sales training, as well as management development for District Managers, Region Directors and emerging leaders. Identifies opportunities and responds to requests for additional training needs within the organization. Oversees and directs the communication process for all communication to the Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine Sales forces to ensure that clarity, consistency and adherence to compliance standards. Ensures that field-based communications flow through appropriate review/approval channels prior to distribution. This responsibility includes weekly/monthly bulletins, competitive updates, planning calendars, monthly newsletters, product specific newsletters, incentive communications, Skype based field training calls, administrative issues, management summary reports. E-mail updates, promotions, Sales Portal and the use of communication updates to managers and representatives on marketing and sales issues designed to proactively and consistently achieve proper execution of sales and marketing strategies. Anticipates the short and long-term training staffing needs and development for the Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine sales and management teams. Monitors and develops the sales trainers to be a resource to future labor needs including area management. Works in a coordinated fashion with Human Resources to ensure incentives and compensation issues promote the environment and development expected for the sales and marketing teams. Directs developmental programs that ensure skill sets are taught that meet company succession planning needs. Supervises team and individual development programs for those in the training, meeting and communication areas. The intent is to ensure proper preparation for future positions of increased responsibility.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Sales Management & Operations, Pharmaceutical/Medical SalesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
