Purpose of Job:
As a Digital Products Manager you are responsible for vision, strategy, and delivering new innovative digital solutions that meet the needs of our consumers of automotive and other battery related products. You will design products and services to provide consumer choice, convenience, and timely fulfillment. The Digital Products Manager will establish metrics related to site experience, own and manage ongoing improvements to the e-commerce customer experience, developing and owning roadmap for feature improvements, and work with internal partners (IT) as well as third-parties to enhance features/functions for customers. Responsibilities and Duties Define the product vision and features to drive growth in our automotive battery sales thru ecommerce. Align organization to vision for ecommerce functionality and features Work with diverse set of teams to craft improvements and ensure timely build of products Champion customer-centric approach to reduce friction throughout ecommerce experience and drive automation of processes Gather feedback from customers - as well as dealers and distributors - to identify pain points in process and then generate solutions Track progress against key initiatives related to ecommerce as well as deployment dates Identify new features based on customer feedback as well as industry standards Defining and managing solutions roadmaps encompassing user experience, software, and services in positioning Interstate Batteries as a market leader in online automotive battery sales. Working with development teams to communicate the product vision, clarify use cases and requirements, and resolve questions and issues that arise during development Oversee the ecommerce website and the Interstate brand on all eCommerce platforms. Manage the overall user experience, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and pricing strategies, including MAP. Be a key component in developing the effective planning and execution of an ecommerce strategy, working cross-functionally with teams to ensure quality content and timely publishing of all web content. Identify new areas of ecommerce opportunity consistent with the Interstate Batteries brand promise. Maintain a thorough understanding of current and emerging trends in marketing, technology and e-commerce. Translate product strategy into a roadmap containing well-defined and prioritized user stories and features and enablers that will realize the product vision to assist the client in achieving a long-term competitive advantage in the market Establish goals for the product with success and acceptance criteria using meaningful metrics, KPIs and quantifiable business outcomes. Qualifications Relevant bachelor's degree or higher 5
years of product management experience for digital and/or software solutions Demonstrated success in owning and delivering ecommerce and other digital solutions to market, with responsibility for managing multiple products/solutions simultaneously Well versed in Agile development methodologies Ability to make quick assessments and decision making to balance competing priorities in face of constraints and ambiguity Excellent communication (written and oral) skills Demonstrated success managing digital products, strategy, experience and enterprise solutions/services from ideation to launch, including engineering and operational quality Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team on customer-focused products and services Proven ability to prioritize multiple demands and obtain buy-in from stakeholders Deep understanding of design thinking principles, having led or facilitated workshops to cultivate the innovation process Ability to solve complex business problems to maximize value while balancing technical constraints Ability to use storytelling to influence decisions without formal authority Comfortable with financials, KPIs, and forecasts with success leveraging such data to make decisions about product iterations.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
