As a leader of our Risk Management Services team, you will build the bridges between risk, data, technology, and compliance in the global labor and employment space by working directly with our risk domain and regional compliance teams to improve team communication, perform head count capacity planning, manage third-party relationships, establish stakeholder feedback mechanisms, drive process standardization and automation, build metrics-driven monitoring mechanisms, establish risk reporting, coordinate quarterly business reviews, develop risk and compliance training, coordinate team off-site meetings, manage our inspections and audit automation program, drive adoption of technology to realize improvements in risk management across R&C.

You will partner with R&C domain and regional leaders and their teams while you learn their domains and help centralize and standardize processes that work to support the diversity of needs across teams.
You will work with key technology, security and privacy partners to identify and deliver technical solutions and methods to automate and scale our inspection program, and support our day-to-day risk management and compliance needs.
We seek an experienced and innovative risk and compliance professional with a background in risk and compliance management, and experience in process improvement.
We are flexible on location and timelines for movement to the following Amazon locations:
Seattle, WA (HQ1); Arlington, VA (HQ2); Phoenix, AZ; Irvine, CA; Dallas, TX; New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; San Francisco, CA.
Key job responsibilitieso Establish cross-team communication protocols and mechanisms to support team collaboration, information sharing, and transparency.
o Establish and maintain head count capacity planning mechanisms and drivers to measure and validate head count necessary for R&C to scale with Amazon growth.
o Manage R&C third party relationships and group spend, including working with legal procurement to create and maintain master hosted services agreements, work orders, subscriptions, licenses, purchase orders, etc.
o Establish and maintain cross-team stakeholder feedback mechanisms designed to measure and act on stakeholder satisfaction.
o Drive process standardization and automation within and across R&C teams to improve operational efficiencies and enable better access to operational data and reporting.
o Build metrics-driven risk and compliance monitoring and reporting mechanisms to support our R&C teams in establishing proactive risk and compliance oversight.
o Establish and maintain R&C reporting mechanisms and protocols, including coordinating global business review meetings.
o Establish and maintain robust risk and compliance training programs for new hires, internal transfers, and continuing education.
o Oversee governance and reporting of R&C's issue management and risk acceptance programs.
o Oversee the inspections program and audit automation to drive inspections that measure state of compliance at scale.
o Drive the implementation and adoption of an integrated risk & compliance solution through partnership with the product owner and technology support resources.
