Position Description:
Leads the activity of preparing and submitting sales proposals or quotations to current or potential customers to meet customer requirements. Must evaluate current sales performance and identify ways an organization can expand and grow. Position Requirements:
oThe FMH BDM will develop Marketing materials focused on evaluating and growing target markets and regions. Maintain the Company market position by providing the necessary intelligence on the marketplace and the competitive situation as to achieve winning proposals oResponsible for Proposal Mgmt. for new business opportunities and establishing workflow and processes to best streamline the efforts required within each department and schedule/track progress to hit due dates oThe BDM will support bringing opportunities to closure through completion of the financial business model for new business proposals and scope changes for existing business, negotiation cycle with the assistance and support of the Sales leadership team oThe BDM will lead the efforts for coordinating the necessary inter-departmental tasks required to complete compliance matrices against technical, contractual and program support requirements for new proposals or changes thereof oFor Project Management functions, the FMH BDM is responsible for contract negotiations, product support agreements and managing the larger commercial scope of deliverables as required by the SOW oActs as the POC to address all internal project queries with the customer. Acts as VOC in the product development cycle oLiaison between customer's design team and FMH Design Engineering, as needed. (Capturing level I and level II requirements) oResearching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives oResearching prospective accounts in target markets oPursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle oAttending conferences and industry events, as needed oHandles all Requests for Proposals (RFP) and sales quotes. Prepares proposals and other customer exhibits that may be required for the bid. oLead price negotiations with customers in conjunction with assistance from Dir. of Bus Dev. oPrepares proposals and other customer exhibits that may be required for the bid oAssists with Export admin & Licensing in accordance with ITAR/EAR regulations. oPrepares document revisions from redlines (ATP's, AHR's, Proposals, Agreements, etc.) Education and
Experience:
oBachelor's degree or relevant experience oStrong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills oAttention to detail and good judgement o Requires strong interpersonal communications (written and verbal) with a positive attitude and ability to o motivate others. o Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks in a timely manner and on schedule. o Ability to communicate in a clear, polite, and courteous manner. o Requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with ability to organize and maintain o proprietary files and records. o Requires ability to work independently and as a team member. o Ability to maintain flexibility and adaptability to deal with changing conditions and requirements. o Requires ability to effectively read and interpret documentation, i.e., drawings, specifications, contracts,
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
