Job Description:
Summary:
Support laboratory operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform media preparation, accurately measuring and dispensing, in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information
Perform basic laboratory support functions such as laboratory inventory management, arranging for calibration and maintenance of equipment, lab housekeeping, and receiving of production samples and laboratory supplies
Communicate and coordinate activities with vendors
Assist in preparing test supplies
Clean and prepare lab glassware and supplies
Operate and clean supporting equipment (e.g autoclaves, dishwashers, etc)
Assist in maintaining laboratory paperwork
Other incidental duties
Additional Skills:
Good computer skills with proven ability to use computer-based programs
Ability to read, comprehend, speak, and write English
Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
Basic knowledge of laboratory processes
Basic knowledge in mathematics, e.g., decimals and percentage
Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
Strict attention to detail
Ability to work with own team environment
