Summary:
We are seeking a litigation associate to join our legal team.
This is a fantastic experience for an attorney who desires the ability to gain trial experience and manage (mostly) independently a robust number of cases for deserving clients who have been catastrophically injured as a result of medical negligence and other personal injury matters.
Responsibilities:
-Substantial communications with clients, witnesses, experts, medical providers, and co-counsel - Conduct legal and medical research on various issues - Review and analyze medical records - Draft pleadings and discovery requests - Frequent court appearances, including arguing motions - Take and defend depositions - Attend mediation - First and second-chair trials and arbitrations
Experience:
The successful candidate must possess the following experience/skills.

from an ABA-accredited law school - At least five years experience in litigating personal injury cases (plaintiff or defense) from inception to resolution - Proficiency in Westlaw - Strong writing skills - Ability to negotiate settlements on behalf of clients - Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and protocols - Ability to work independently, fast learner - Strong inter-personal skills This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience as well as benefits.
