About the Role:
Twitch is looking for someone to help lead its Law Enforcement Response team's collaboration with Law Enforcement and Government Agencies in the US Irvine Office.
The Law Enforcement Response Manager will be an essential element of trust and safety's efforts, coordinating its work with external bodies to aid compliance and collaboration.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Law Enforcement Response, you will help serve our growing community in relation to legal requests and government and organizational obligations to protect our community.
We will look for someone with a background in law enforcement/governmental work, non-profit online safety, or tech company-side liaison.
You Will:
o Mentor team members, and perform the following
Responsibilities:
o Manage how requests from and escalations to law enforcement or government agencies are handled; this includes:
o Form strategies, tools and workflows required to create, efficient processeso Strict adherence to regulation and legal compliance around data privacy and protectiono The tracking and achievement Indicators, taking measures to ensure achievement of target performance levelso Work LER cases directly while driving the team simultaneouslyo Work throughout the Twitch business to coordinate relevant work, with emphasis on Customer Experience, Policy, Legal, and Product teamso Handle and respond to high-urgency requests, incidents or issues and serve as the primary LER contact for relevant policy and legislative concernso Support large projects while managing competing interestso Work with Trust & Safety global leadership, working across international time zones to ensure issue response following the nature of a live streaming serviceo Aid the Moderation team in the handling of sensitive content including potentially disturbing text, video or images.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
